Launch Celluloid Remix 2: 'Found Footage'

Professionals and amateurs remix special film material from the Bits & Pieces collection into new short films. The deadline for submissions of new remixes is 25 April 2012.

15 September 2011 EYE Film Institute Netherland brings early Dutch film to life. This site contains the remarkable stories of around 2300 old films. Most of the films which have been preserved can be watched free of charge. www.filminnederland.nl

How much has been digitised up to now?

13 July 2011 At the moment, 60% of the planned amount of film material has been digitised, 86% of the planned amount of video, 57% of the planned amount of audio and 88% of the planned amount of photographs.
